Geoagiu Băi Spa is renowned for its thermal waters since Antiquity.
One can reach Cheile Cibului Monstery by climbing north from Geoagiu up to Bozeş,where the road forks. The right one leads to Băcâia,known for its mineral waters. Then the road takes us through Băcâiei Gorges and through Cheile Cibului village.
Less known is the Museum from Ardeu,recently opened with the help of the locals and with a lot of implication from the City Hall in Balşa. The Museum holds traditional installments. 
Northward,in Almaşu Mare village,close to Balşa Parish,one can see the « Achim Emilian» Museum,which holds a lifetime of collections of a local enthusiast.
